Lake TroutLimit 2 (only one may exceed 26 in.)

Although you are legally allowed to keep one trophy of each species (except Brook Trout), we encourage all anglers to practice "catch and release" in order to preserve this fishery for years to come.
Island Lake is in the North Eastern Division of Manitoba and is open to angling all year. All of Manitoba's fisheries are barbless. Only the hook on your rod must be barbless, so just crimp your hooks as you use them.
